Robert S. Gold, M.D. F.A.A.P., has been with Eye Physicians of Central Florida since July 1987 and specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult eye-movement disorders.

Dr. Gold earned his bachelor’s degree and graduated cum laude from Tulane University in New Orleans where he was a member of the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa. He also earned his medical degree from Tulane. Dr. Gold completed an internship in internal medicine at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and Clinic in New Orleans and a residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at James Hall Foundation, Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, Atlanta.

Dr. Gold is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Gold also serves as a member of the Central Florida Society of Ophthalmology and the Central Florida Pediatric Society.
